As a petit juror, you will be on call for five (5) days, or the length of one trial if you are selected as a juror. You will be expected to be available to appear at the courthouse whenever instructed during your five days of service. This does not mean that you will actually report in person at the courthouse everyday, but rather, you will be expected to call in as instructed and be ready to appear when directed.
To determine whether you need to report on your on call start date, please call the Recorded Jury Message number that is on your summons after 7:00 p.m. on the weekday prior to your on call start date. It is important that you check, as your reporting date, time and location are subject to change. The Recorded Message operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
For those individuals needing disability accommodations, please call 225-4704 to report the type of assistance you will need during your term of service. TTY users may dial the Ohio Relay service toll free number 1-800-750-0750.
Parking
There is handicapped parking available in the East Lot, on the corner of W. Second St. and N. Perry St., which is just across Second St. from the Courthouse.
