Intern / Volunteer Program

The Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Criminal Justice Services, invites you to become an intern/volunteer with our department. Should you be selected to become a team member with our department, you will have the privilege to work with a Nationally Accredited Probation Department.

An opportunity exists for you to participate in an exciting experience involving:
  • Working with misdemeanor and felony offenders
  • Gaining insight into the criminal justice process and society's social needs
  • On the job training by the Adult Probation Officers
  • Flexible hours and job duties
  • Working with a diverse department

We believe this program will be an effective means for students to gain valuable experience while pursuing their education and eventually their careers.

  • Must meet their institutions' requirement
  • Ability to maintain confidential court and probation information
  • Ability to work independently within policy and procedure
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing using standard English

Possible Work Sites:
  • 41 North Perry Street - Montgomery County Common Pleas Court
  • 117 S. Main Street, 10th Floor - Reibold Building
Public transportation runs by both of the above locations.
